Where did it all start?

In 1984 we started our group as a Mother & Toddler/Coffee morning in a classroom of our local primary school. We gradually expanded and became a ‘playgroup’ in  1993 opening five mornings a week.

In 1999 we changed our name from playgroup to Eastwood Pre-School opening 5 full days a week, by then we were delivering not only the care but also the education for under 5’s using the Early Years curriculum ‘The Early Learning Golas’.

We are registered and inspected by ofsted. Our proudest moment other than opening this nursey was to be the 1st group in Stoke-on-Trent to receive an Accreditation Award for quality and care for under 5’s.
